Julia Higginbotham is a Financial Planning Associate at Your Financial Legacy. As a Gainesville native, Julia knows this community well (and is a lifelong Gator fan). She has understood the value of financial literacy from a young age, learning basic financial principles first from her parents and then through her high school’s Finance Academy. These early experiences led Julia to further study at the University of Florida. Here, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in Economics, joined various clubs, and connected with industry leaders to expand her understanding of the financial industry.
After earning her bachelor’s degree, Julia began working for Your Financial Legacy. She found that this practice offers a unique space where her interest in financial education overlaps with her values of service and generosity. Julia has recently earned her state securities license and is training under Tryssa to become an advisor. She is excited to help people from all walks of life meet their financial goals and create strong financial legacies for their families and communities. Outside of work, Julia loves hiking local trails with her Australian Shepherd, serving in the children’s ministry of her church, going to concerts, and reading.
